Natural gas utilities worldwide are embracing the age of digital transformation, and Picarro has stood at the forefront of this transformation for over ten years. Our partner customers have been the beneficiaries of this innovation, using our data collection and visualization tools to enhance network safety, improve efficiency, and reduce emissions.

Picarro has continuously enhanced the capabilities of our solution, and 2023 will be our most ambitious year to date. As utilities implement digital transformations across their entire operation, Picarro understands that we must interface and integrate seamlessly with these new digital systems. We aim to achieve these integrations in 2023 with the introduction of our data integration utility, the Picarro Leak Indication Processing Platform (LIPP).

The LIPP will enable our customers to ingest the data stream created via P-Cubed reports seamlessly into their existing enterprise software environments. Intended to be flexible, yet comprehensive, each individual customer will have the ability to create software links directly into the LIPP to suit the needs of their existing enterprise software platform, as well as future versions or new platforms.

The benefits to our customers who take advantage of the LIPP are numerous. Customers will be able to utilize survey-level data to track their survey vehicles for payroll or contractor invoicing purposes, and these drives can be checked off against the plan of record, closing the loop on compliance and streamlining the scheduling process. Report-level outputs such as Field of View can be linked directly to compliance maps to generate time-stamped data for leak survey schedule compliance, and Picarro indications can be used to automatically create leak survey work orders, enabling the end-to-end tracking of Picarro Indications from detection and creation through to investigation.

The benefits of this automated data stream go both ways. The LIPP will also enable leak survey investigation results to feed back into the P-Cubed system, where it can drive algorithm adjustments, feed data visualizations in our Network Assessment Viewer or Leak Survey Report Viewer, and enable detailed, up-to-date dashboard views of the current state of operations. Leak repair data will also be a part of this data stream, enabling Picarro to use real-world repair data to track emissions reductions from Super Emitter programs and pipeline repair and replacement projects.
